His views on the unconscious were apparently negative, his level of perception however was remarkable. There is often an underlying darkness to the human mind...anyway here's Freud, comments and critiques welcome

took about 12 hours, graphite and some cotton buds and one of those squishy erasers

Great work, +9/10. I really like how you pused your lights/darks, makes for a very interesting contrast. I remember doing a report on Freud (he was a heavy cocaine user, seriously), but ironically, I never knew how he looked like until now.

Kidding aside, not sure what is wrong with my eyes but something seem to be wrong with his lips (if only I can pin point it at the moment...sigh)

I so admire your work. I love your portraits! I strive to make portraits like you. They are so wonderful. This one may not be as interesting as others, but I think its the subject not the technique.
